 CONSERVING WITH DONATIONS

 PRINTABLE COPY
FIRST WE SAVE, THEN WE PAY

THE HOME IS THE FASTEST AND BEST PLACE TO CONSERVE IN YOUR DAILY LIFE, DONATING HELPS REPLACE THE THOSE THINGS YOU CAN'T CONSERVE...

Donating to your Local Good-will: When there are things you are not interested in keeping.  Try selling them in a garage sale.  If you can’t sell it, try donating it.  By doing this, others can buy these items and not have to buy a new item that needed to be manufactured when there are good items still out there.
Buying from Goodwill: To save money and the environment, buy used.  Goodwill, Salvation Army, Deseret Industries and other Thrift Stores have items that you want for a lot less and they don’t have to use materials and energy from the environment to remake these items.
Fix items that are broken and donate them, even if they are not in best shape: One mans junk is another man’s treasure.  Donate it, only if it works.  If the item is scratched and you want to buy a new one, donate it. Someone else can use it and that way they don’t have to buy a new product, cutting down on manufacturing. Donate them or sell them at a garage sale. Don’t throw them away.  Its just filling up the landfills with things others can use.
