Conserving with Lighting - This section can save you around 15% of your electrical bill. Most effective difference you can make is to change all of your incondescent light bulb to compact flourescents.

Conserving with Electricity - Learn small changes you can make to save money and conserve resources. Small changes include connecting you electronics to a smart outlet pad and flip it off before bed time.

Conserving with Dishwasher - When you use options on your dishwasher, you are using more electricity. Don't heat dry your dishes but instead, open the door as soon as the dishwasher cycle ends and all the hot water on the dishes will evaporate into the air.

Conserving with Laundry - Only run your laundry when you have a full load. Watch out for washing too many small loads, you only use a small additional amount of electricity and water to wash a full load. To wash multiple loads you waste a great deal of water and electricity.

Conserving by Sealing/Insulation - Most important part of keeping the environment within your home comfortable and inexpensive. Double check you insulation levels in your walls and especially your attic.

Conserving through Donations - You can conserve a great deal by donating your used things around the house. Less clothing needs to be made around the world and you save money on your taxes. Conserve Green as well as GR$$N.

Conserving in the Backyard - Whether gardening or just watering your grass there is so many things you can do to conserve in your own backyard. Never water your grass everyday, conserve by spacing it out.

Conserving Recycling/Waste - Conserve your resources by donating some recyclable trash so they can be reused and reprocessed.
