CARBON BLUEPRINT SPECIAL PROJECTS
 |
LOW INCOME CONSERVATION:
Energy conservation should be available to all incomes and social levels. Some cannot afford the changes they need in their homes and we help them with that. We teach these families how to conserve and we have them help others with the information we give them. Sponsors recommend low income families that need these services and we provide them with the tools they need. |
MATH BEHIND LOW INCOME CONSERVATION:
An average American can save $100+ of utilities each month by conserving. At the same time they can save 1+ tons of CO2 by conserving, recycling, reducing, reusing around their house. Less than 1% of America knows about conserving around their house and at work. Less than a tenth of a percent of America puts forth the effort to conserve around their homes. Did you know you could save $100+ on your energy/utility bills each month? With that knowledge, will you make a change.
There are around .2% of Americans that may not be able to make the initial change at their home due to lack of money, time, or resources. That is such a little amount but our task force was put together to help low income families and through them spreading the word of conservation throughout the world. We have put together this task force to help those that do not have the opportunity to change. Helping them learn and obtain a desire to change. This way they can tell others about Carbon Blueprint and conservation, helping others change their habits. Starting with those who may have a harder time changing. |
PROJECT LOW INCOME CONSERVATION:
Carbon Blueprint has put together a task force to help those who either would not put forth the effort or who could not put forth the effort to change their energy using ways. The task force takes the names of people who were referred to them and after researching their needs chooses the families that truly need the help. They will then make an appointment with the family, enter their home and research things that the family can do to save energy and other resources. They will then return when they can and give the family a report of everything that needs to be done. If the family needs help to get these things done, need for time or financial help, CB's task force will then use funds donated to this program to help these families in need. Offices and resources are now available in: Salt Lake County, Utah County, and St. George, Utah; Las Vegas, Nevada; Denver, Colorado; Pensacola to Okaloosa County , Florida, the Alaska Panhandle, and the New York, New York area.
|
PROJECT GOALS:
CB's Task Force is working towards conserving 1 million pounds of CO2 by 2009 and open offices and resources in every state in America. Our goal is also to help over 100 families every year to conserve energy and resources within their homes and help them spread the word. |
